The Brief

The Box Supplements partnered with Marca before launch to ensure their store was built correctly from day one. Rather than patching problems later, the goal was to create a CRO-first, performance-led Shopify store with strong operational foundations.

With a large and complex product range, the challenge was not just to launch, but to launch with clarity. Customers needed to be able to find the right products quickly, understand what they were buying, and feel confident in how to use them. At the same time, the business needed to run with minimal admin and manual input.

The ambition was simple: build a store that could scale without becoming a burden.

The SOLUTION

We designed The Box Supplements as a CRO-first build, not a visual-first one.

From the start, we focused on:
• Speed
• Simplicity
• Decision clarity
• Automation
• Long-term scalability

Because of the size of the product range, we implemented advanced search, filtering, and navigation systems, along with sibling product structures to improve discovery and reduce cognitive load.

PDPs were built as deep-dive decision pages, using behavioural heuristics:
• Clear panel breakdowns to reduce uncertainty
• “How to consume” sections to remove friction and post-purchase anxiety
• Structured information hierarchy to support scanning
• Trust-building clarity to reduce hesitation

Six months after launch, the supplier developed a custom API to automate the ordering process. We returned to the store and integrated this into Shopify, fully automating what had previously been a manual daily process.

This removed roughly 2.5 hours of admin work per day, transforming the business into a hands-off system: • Products now auto-assign • Orders process automatically • No manual ordering • No operational bottlenecks

THE RESULT

From launch, The Box Supplements has operated on a fast, intuitive Shopify store built for scale.

The site currently achieves:
• £1.10 ARPU
• 2% CVR
• Fully automated fulfilment and product management

Beyond the numbers, the biggest win has been operational freedom. The store now runs with minimal admin input, allowing the founder to focus on growth rather than maintenance.
